We saved what we could (like the venetian plaster) to keep this kitchen remodel to a tight budget.  That's one reason this project was a finalist for two REX Awards.

The custom suspended glass shelf was nominated in the Trades and Finishes category






Note the way the glass is notched to fit perfectly around the window trim.

We kept what we could, and blended the new elements with the old

Finalist for 2007 Best Kitchen under $75K.  There was tough competition in this category, so this beautiful project was edged out.
